Trees

Trees are the follicles of the earth and sway with the forces of nature. They are an essential element in life second only to water and their resilience and scale is awe-inspiring. Trees have spoken to me all my life for climbing, for shade and as a form in my art. The fractal nature of trees branching out is in itself evocative of the act of making art. Just as there are no two identical trees, each piece in this series is unique onto itself.
